When you join the Spread waitlist or create an account, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, niche interests, and referral source. We also collect usage data automatically, such as pages visited, interactions with features, and device information.
We use your information to: operate and improve the Service; send you waitlist updates, product announcements, and relevant communications; personalize your experience based on niche preferences; analyze usage patterns to improve features; and comply with legal obligations.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not collect personal data. All analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted database hosting with row-level security. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
By joining the waitlist, you consent to receive emails related to the Service, including launch updates, product news, and early access invitations. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who assist in operating the Service (email delivery, hosting, analytics), but only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
The Spread website does not use tracking cookies. We do not employ third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent for email communications; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it.
